The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face everyday, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice.
We are represented as a company at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2016 and 2017 that is held on each September in New York. We are trying to implement it internally, by creating good conditions that allow our people to have quality life and externally, by focusing our company on innovation, efficiency and renewable energy. There are some of SDGs we aim to achieve through our everyday commitment.
Affordable and Clean energy. Our focus is LED Technology as the most innovative technology in lighting industry. Considering its advantages of efficiency, durability, flexibility, environmental safety, LED lights seem to be the most suitable lights to achieve this goal.
Climate Action. Climate change is now affecting every country on every continent. The pace of change is quickening as more people are turning to renewable energy and a range of other measures that will reduce emissions and increase adaptation efforts. One of our focuses in the future, except Smart Control Systems, will be solar panels which is a form of the renewable energy. We are taking steps toward this goal and soon we will provide this product and its goods to our customers.
Gender Equality. BROTECH Brands started with a staff composed only by men. Today, the company has many females who has important job positions, and the aim is to reduce the difference in the ratio of women and men employed.
The SDGs can only be realized with a strong commitment, coordinating the right polices and strategies of the company in a way to achieve sustainable growth and development.
